Hello all.
Today I had the joy of meeting Chris and his wife .
We spoke at length about various aspects of the delorean.
Chris was kind enough to answer all my questions, and offered to be my chauffeur.
I can say he is very welcoming and understanding of a novice.
Got some reading literature, lots of advice.
I had a great day, hope I did not take up to much of your time ~ thanks for spending it with me.
Interesting insights.
One thing that stuck in my mind ( two actually).
Turning the corner into his street.
You just smile. You just smile when you see the car.
When driving, people look. Or give their friend a nudge ~ they look, and smile.
The other, is, I know its mentioned alot.
How little space is needed to get out of the car.
Its been said before, but when it is parked ~ and you see someone get out so effortlessly in a tight space.
Sticks in the mind ~ actually seeing it.
Oh ~ and the third.
Everyone talks about the ease of the door.
Its so easy, ridiculously easy ~ opens and closes basically itself.
I held onto the uplift to slow it down ~ did not want it to fly up and get damaged.
VEry, Very, Very low to thee ground.
Love it.
Thanks again.
