Windscreen re-bonded pics

I got my windscreen rebonded today and it looks superb.
I thought I'd share some pics of the job:

I also sorted out half the garage too. Looking nice and bright now I've painted it bright white.

hi

out of interest, how did they cut near to the dash.

cheese wire, or knife?

He used both. He put a large piece of aluminium on top of the dash to protect it where he was cutting it. He used a knife where the trim was close to the screen. He spent 2 hours doing the job but he did take care and did it thoroughly.

Should have left it out for that open air feeling ! Smile

Good job there Nick and very useful contact.

By the way your windscreen header and side trims are all refinished now, final coat of lacquer is just drying out now Smile
