DeLorean Day at Great British Car Journey Belper. Derbyshire. 29 August 2022
#16
Hi All,

I fancy bringing my car to this but can't 100% commit - lets say 90%!

Do I need to book in or is it ok to just turn up?

As someone mentioned, what time does it kick off?

Just turn up..we usually park right near the entrance door. It would be good to see you.

Looking at their website here: https://greatbritishcarjourney.com/great...ugust-414/

(It's definitely on the 29th, so ignore the weblink saying 30th and the date in which they announced it on the 11th! (Very confusing))

They say the exhibition opens at 10am. So i think it's appropriate to turn up for about then (maybe a little before or after). I think that's what i'll plan to do anyway.
(Trying to bring a bit more formality to it for organising people who're coming along)

There is bags of room for us as they reserve the area near the entrance doors especially for us.  The more the merrier.

I was there last night in my 1999 Rav 4 EV (the only RHD surviour known) at a general ''Classic Car" meeting.....the place was heaving....a really good atmosphere.  Smile

Thanks for all who attended ...the Amazing BTTF replica was a wonderful surprise . The public, as usual were very keen to look at the cars and ask questions. A brilliant day.....and free!

Will is growing into the role of 'Marty' ....and the chap in the white overalls....is just growing!

I'm now recovering in sunny Norfolk.

was great to see the museum car getting some (very fast) usage too.
