Rissy Wrote:, I never booked the Premier Inn, but having stayed in them a lot in the past, I'm pretty sure you can cancel up to 24hrs before your booking, and still receive no bill for it....? is this not the case any more? I mean, you're giving 2 weeks notice nearly, so i'd have thought that's ample time!!??
trouble was we booked it on the 'saver rate' rather then their 'flexible rate', not expecting to have
to cancel the room - rooms booked on 'saver rate' cannot be cancelled or changed without having
to pay in full - all we're getting back is the £16 odd quid we paid up front for our breakfasts, but we
are losing the £46 that I paid for our room
C'est la vie............

Quote:UPDATE
The organisers are trying to find us some space.
How much they'll be able to find I can say at this stage.....
I'm sure they will do something, They know how popular the DOC and the cars are so it's in the best intrest to get it sorted out.

That's just crazy.
The same company organised this years new NW Indoor Classic Car show... they put us at the main entrance knowing how popular the car is?!
There seemed to be ample free space unused last year behind the fun fair where the military vehicles were...

Sorry to hear this Guy's, it was a good show last year.
If it doesn't work out or if they cannot find enough space for all those planning to go to Tatton Park, I have room left for 2 cars at Carfest North on the Saturday and one on the Sunday.

Quite Amazingly today I have received tickets for ALL the entries on my list
Quote:Hello Richard,
A club for E19 has not been able to 'muster' any interest from his members. No passes have been issued to them
so, although not your usual 'prime spot' it is available for all your members. Sorry for the problems we had earlier.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND
We are in quite a good spot. Further down the field than usual, just off the main track.
Next to the West Lancs MG Club, Lotus Group, Quattro Owners Club and Allegro & Maestro Club
I'll be sending tickets out to everybody over the next few days. Please PM me to let know if you have now made alternative
arrangements so that I don't waste money on stamps.
