Hi folks!
I'm starting proceedings for the Tatton Park Classic Show this August...
As with last year, this is a two day event in which participants can attend both or either of the day's. I will need to know which day(s) you plan to attend to arrange for a big enough club space. The organisers said we had a fantastic stand (which won us a Highly Commended Club Stand award) and are keen for us to attend again.
The show has a huge auto jumble and attracts 100's of different cars and visitors every year. Tatton Park is situated just south of Manchester not far from the M6.
Here’s the official website: http://www.cheshireautopromotions.co.uk/vintage.php

...Might be interested in this. Asking "The Management" right now.
Where do people stay when they go to this? I see there is a Premier Inn very close by... But do people stay in tents and such do they?

"Da Management" seems quite up for this one. I'll confirm proper next week. Looking good so far though. We'll probably do the same thing, and stay in the Premier, maybe just the Sat night, coming up in the morning, and leaving at some point on the Sunday again. Quite a drive. 2hrs each direction for us....

yeah, stick us down as normal, both days, staying at the Premier Inn at
Warrington (J19 of the M6) as usual. (Awesome bit of brekkie at the
Premier Inn).
Rissy, if you want to convoy up with us, you are more then welcome. We
normally leave around 7am, to give us a good 2hrs to get there.
Rich tends to go the 'scenic route' over the Cat n Fiddle pass, whereas we
go A38/A50/M6.

If this is the same Premier I was looking at, then it's very close by.
7am meet up at yours!? I've no idea where you guys live, or how long it would take to get to yours from Rugby, but i'm guessing that would be a VERY early start for us. I'd have to, once again, clear it with management....

lol, we're at J27 of the M1, prob about 30-40 mins up the M1 - might be easier for you
to get straight on the M6 at Rugby.

I'll be coming to this too, with the g/f too. We'll be booking ourselves into the Premier Inn close by. Our plan, is to arrive on the Saturday morning, and stay the Saturday night, and then leave after the end of the event on the Sunday again. So both days, although when we arrive on the Saturday morning will be determined by how long it takes Sarah to do her hair this time. (I'm hoping it will be morning  )
...Unless there is a particular time we have to be there for the club attendance? (I'm presuming that someone is organising us as a club attendance for the weekend? - So we have to pay someone back here is it? rather than individual payment to the organisers?)
