have you seen the ad
states a 1987 reg date, 2.3 engine, airbag and seat pretensioners!
is this a club member?.
is it not worth UK registering, to save hastles with the customs docs etc, imported in one name, registered in another, for the sake of a few quid, and potentially a better price?
tried to cut and paste the number but did not seem to work

The owner is an american who brought the car with him to the UK. He had it for sale on Autotrader before Christmas, he was looking for £25k. I told him it was worth only £16k, as at the time there were other cars for sale in the UK at this price. He declined my offer and told me he'd sell in the summer and he'd accept lower offers as he got more desperate to sell it.
Nice guy to talk to but I thought it was odd that he didn't MOT or register it at the time of my initial inquiry. If i recall correctly he even offered to deliver it on a trailer to the buyer.
Anyway, his loss because I bought another car..
